The perfect recipe after working out, pepper with tuna and scrambled eggs

I just wanted to share with you one of the pretty easy recipes that I cooked yesterday with my buddy gym. We got really exhausted after being on the gym’s jacuzzi (kidding). We decided to cook something quick and easy, so we came out with this pepper, tuna and scrambled eggs recipe, and a salad as accompaniment. Basically, we used everything that we had in the fridge.

Ingredients for red pepper with tuna and scrambled eggs:

  • 2 peppers (we used red and green peppers)
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp. of olive oil
  • A pinch of salt

  • Lettuce
  • Baked chicken leg that I cooked the day before
  • Diced ham
  • Grated cheese
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Olive oil

Motivation

Get your booty into shape with this 30 Minute Treadmill Workout! Great for people at any stage of fit. Intervals are one of the best ways to sweat, lose fat & get in shape. Celebrities like Cameron Diaz swear by interval training. It must work because her body is smoking.
Don’t be discouraged if you can’t make it through the workout the first time you do it. Everyone is different. Keep working at it and remember, you’re still moving faster than everyone sitting on their couch.

Fit Don’t Quit

Today’s workout is an awesome full body conditioning challenge. You do not need any equipment for this workout, although I chose to use weights for a couple of the exercises. If you choose to do this workout without any equipment, double the reps of the weighted exercises. I found the double time push ups to be particularly tough!! Remember that each double time push up includes a wide push up and a tricep push up, so each 2 reps really equals 1 rep. Take breaks as needed, or modify the push ups to your knees so you can push through the reps! Make sure to record your time so you have a mark to try and beat next time.

An active weekend

During the summer weekends, I feel like I need to plan my time so that I can enjoy as many activities as possible.  The season flies by quickly, and many activities are impossible once the season ends.  This weekend, I was very happy to return to the Fort Assiniboine Sandhills Wildland where I visited 9 years earlier.  It’s a very interesting area, since the soil there is so sandy, and the trees and wildlife are much different than they are in the Edmonton area.  A group of us met in Barrhead, Northwest of Edmonton, and then we went another 20 minutes farther north to Fort Assiniboine.  This area is close to the Grizzly Trail Highway, so a couple of us brought canisters of bear spray, just in case we met a big bear.  Luckily, we didn’t need to use our spray, but one group we met said they saw a…
