Looking for a quick and easy lunch recipe? In just a few ingredients this chicken wrap is just that! Read below to make this delicious mid-day meal:


All ingredients are from Trader Joe’s. Get as much or as little as you need:

Bell Peppers

Chicken Strips

Flour Tortillas

Three Cheese Blend


Cilantro (Not Pictured)


Step One: Heat oven to 350 degrees and slice up those bell peppers into strips.


Step Two: On a baking sheet, lightly coat aluminum foil with coconut oil spray or other cooking spray. After laying the bell peppers skin side down, lightly spray each one with your cooking spray. Bake for about 15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.


Step Three: In a pan, heat your tortilla. Add cheese and cook until melted. Set aside.


Step Four: Heat up your chicken. I don’t have a microwave so I use the same pan.

I’m convinced smoothies are the most deceptive health food.

Throw a bunch of healthy ingredients into the blender, and before you know it, you’ve ended up creating a several-hundred calorie meal when you intended to make a small snack.

Small rant: I seriously think this is why people who go Paleo get frustrated when they don’t lose weight–they compensate grain depletion with nuts and fruit in overwhelming amounts. Well, sure, you’ve chosen a healthy option, but your body always stores excess energy, even if consumed through healthful foods.

(Plus, these people eat a lot of bacon. I mean, a LOT.)

And I’m speaking from experience here.

I used some restraint with this recipe. It’s only 220 calories, and it’s full of the stuff your body wants after a hard workout. Also makes for a great breakfast.

Now that the length on the sleeves clothing are getting shorter,  we realise that we should have fought the arm jiggle before, but no worries, here I will show some simple exercises for getting sculpted arms and shapely shoulders by using one of the sit-up weight benches at the gym, or the home use benches. Ready?

1. Dumbbell chest press on bench

Grab a pair of dumbbells and lie face up on a bench with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent at 90 degrees. Hold the dumbbells by the sides of your chest, palms facing outward. Press your hands toward the ceiling until arms are straight, keeping weights over your chest. Lower slowly back to the starting position for one rep. By doing this exercise you will be working out chest, shoulders and triceps. Do 3 set of 10 to 12 reps.
